1/7/2024 0 Comments Microsoft onedrive for mac![]() When receiving a new or “loaner” computer, you will only need to sign-in to the OneDrive service to access all of your documents. Faculty and staff should use the OneDrive – MNSCU folder as their primary save location. Once you are signed-in, anything you place in the OneDrive – MNSCU folder will be synchronized with the OneDrive cloud service. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the OneDrive setup.Once you login to OneDrive, these icons will turn blue, indicating you are signed-in. Click the gray clouds, then sign-in to OneDrive with your credentials.On a Windows machine, look for the gray clouds icon near the clock on a Mac, look at the menu bar. After the file has installed, you will need to login to OneDrive.Locate the downloaded file and run it (install).Mac users, go to and click Install OneDrive for Mac.Windows users open your web browser and go to and click the Click here to download link to begin the download.If you don’t see “OneDrive – MNSCU” listed, you should update your OneDrive client. You can tell you have the latest version of OneDrive if you see “OneDrive – MNSCU” listed as the OneDrive folder name in the Windows File explorer or the Mac Finder. If you are running a different version of Office (2016), you’ll need to manually update your OneDrive client. You can use OneDrive to share your work and folders with. Microsoft will automatically update the OneDrive app as part of Office 365 updates. OneDrive Logo Save all your work and files to OneDrive and get them from any device, anywhere. Today we released the public preview of our OneDrive for Business sync client for Mac, which provides a simple and secure way to manage and sync your files through the familiar Finder experience. We also heard the feedback from Mac users wanting to be able to easily access and take their OneDrive for Business files offline. This release rounds out the first phase of our mobile investments that deliver a single OneDrive experience across work and life. Enter your work or school account and click Sign in.
